PERFECT BLUE

Far away, deep within. A silhouette in the far away distance, its contours distorted, their colours faded. Yet, I feel the hot breath in my neck. The end of everything, the beginning of something unknown.

PERFECT BLUE is a work of colourful photographs depicting a world that is breaking apart due to human arrogance, an exploration of living in a dying world. In this world sadness means strength, because the conscious eye and an open heart are unable to deny the extreme brutality that petrol-capitalism wrecks on the living world. The photographs invoke a feeling of a photo-album; personal, intimate, an attempt to capture those that will be lost.

Through these images I walk a fine line between hopelessness and courage. Much like balancing on the last meters of a mountain ridge, it urges one to stay as calm as the mountain itself, even when the mountain starts rumbling.
